Show device data on this handy plug & play display

22 August 2018

IO-Link gives users more and better quality data, so it’s useful to see what is going on when the devices either do not have a display of their own or are inaccessible.

As one of the founding companies behind IO-Link with a very wide range of components, ifm electronic has launched another display that is easy to use. The E30443 is described as a Master Display, because it simply plugs into the IO-Link fieldbus master that accommodates the measuring devices, and automatically shows the values of the first four units. No special software is required for configuration.

This useful addition to the available IO-Link units also provides a handy way of changing the IP address of the master that it connects to without requiring a PC.

The E30443 complements other IO-Link displays from ifm electronic; the E30391 that displays any data sent by the PLC, and the E30430 inline display for sowing the process values of an IO-Link sensor connected directly to it.

Each one of these IO-Link displays indicates process values, texts and messages provided by the connected IO-Link master, sensor of PLC, showing up to four assigned process values, alarms and warnings. Clear text and as an option, a colour change of text and background can be used for a quick overview. An intuitive pushbutton interface is provided for setting or acknowledging messages.

ifm is committed to working closely with its customers to develop products which precisely match their needs, and the company provides expert, readily accessible technical support to help users maximise the benefits they gain from ifm products.
